Mullets are HOT

I put a whole bunch of new pics in UVa. So check ‘em out.

Mullets are a thing of the past. Kentucky waterfall baby! Business in the front and party in the back. No porch and all awning. I wouldn’t necessarily call them a thing of beauty but aparently I can pull one off. Now only if I had kept my mustach too…oh well. So I’m sure by now that have all wondered what I’ve done with my hair. The truth of the matter is that it is short, I had Jon Butterfield (friend thru Agape) cut it over at his apartment since he has mad experience and quality equipment. 5 of the 6 guys in his apartment are ROTC so they know what they are doing. For some fun Jon took the liberty of giving me a mullet first. Meanwhile, his apartment mates were playing Duckhunt.

If you ever had an original NES system raise your hand. If you had Mairo 1/Duckhunt keep it raised. If you had the original orange gun then you are our winner! I had one once. Then my sibling, who will remain nameless, threw it at another sibling while she was in the tub. Water and Nintendo don’t mix.

On Wed night, I had my drama final. Our class went to a pizza bar and sang kareoke. That’s right, the coolest and easiest final ever! I was actually looking forward to doing another skit or monologue but I of course didn’t mind. The guys sang girl songs and mine was…you guessed it…Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.” I sang it in her octave and wooed the women of my class. This may be sexist but Shakespeare once said, “She is beautiful and meant to be wooed.” After about an hour, we all got up on stage and sang Love Shack. Once again, another opportunity for me to show people that you don’t have to be drinking to have fun.

I’m very excited about this semester ending and getting ready for Guatemala. Continue to pray for me and Jennie (Sam’s girlfriend that is going down their as well with me) as we prepare both logistically and spiritually. It’s hard to find my heart in the right place when I’m still here surrounded by school busyness and that of my own.

For the comment question this week, what is your favorite game of all time? For me it would depend on the platform. Video game: Donkey Kong Country, SNES. Board game: Risk. Card game: Rook.

  1. D-Well, we need to have a serious talk about your hair issues. You tried a mustache, and how a mullet, please stop rejecting God, and turn from your evil ways, and ask for His forgiveness.

  3. A thought, but unless you are going to write an entry should you not just wait until the entire entry is finished. Unless perhaps it’s a Dramatic entry to an entry, but then you wouldn’t say something like I’ll finish this later. Hmm…

  4. Now Frith, OF COURSE it’s a dramatic start! This is a picture of me with a mullet while glowing like I’m on fire. Could there be a more dramatic and exciting beginning to get your mind and spirit going?! I didn’t think so.

  6. [In the voice of Morpheous] Would you like to know, what, it, is? Mullets are everywhere, NEO; mostly in Kentucky. When you look around, who is wearing them? Layers, teachers, business men, the very hair of the people we are trying to save but until we do, they are still stuck in the 80’s and /that/ makes them our enemy. I won’t lie to you, NEO, every man or woman who as stood their ground against a mullet has barfed. But where they have failed, you will succed.

[NEO]So what are you say? That I can drink a whole gallon of milk within an hour and not throw up?

[MOR.]No NEO. What I am trying to tell you is that when you are ready, you will overcome the powers of the mullet.

  8. The video game that got me through the 80s was the original Mario Brothers,
at least after I learned how to get a million lives.

The video game I was most able to win was Double Dribble.

    Salute to these 80s games!
